The global power grid is undergoing the fastest structural transformation in its history. As intermittent renewables like solar and wind replace baseload fossil generation, gigawatts of battery energy storage systems (BESS) are deployed to stabilize grid frequency, prevent blackouts, and manage peak demand.

Concurrently, the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and hyperscale computing has elevated data center electrical reliability to a tier-one operational risk. If the power fails, the computation ceases.

Yet the cybersecurity of these battery-backed assets has remained an operational orphan—too physical and protocol-dense for corporate IT teams, and too complex and software-driven for traditional plant maintenance. Battery Cyber bridges this divide.
