Enterprise Governance
Privacy & Data Protection Policy
Battery Cyber operates under a strict privacy-by-design and minimal-collection philosophy. As an enterprise cybersecurity company serving critical infrastructure, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of confidentiality and data minimization.
1. Zero Third-Party Advertising Trackers
We do not deploy third-party advertising trackers, surveillance pixels, or behavioral profiling tools (such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or Hotjar) on this website. Your visit to our site is not sold, brokered, or monetized.
2. Information We Collect
A. Information You Voluntarily Provide
When you submit an inquiry through our "Discuss an Environment" contact form, we collect the information necessary to evaluate and respond to your technical request:
- Full Name
- Work Email Address
- Company / Organization Name
- Job Title / Operational Role
- Environment Type and Approximate Scale
- Project Stage
- Technical Scope / Message Content
B. Technical Metadata & Abuse Prevention
To ensure the availability and security of our edge infrastructure, our Cloudflare edge network processes standard technical connection metadata, including:
- IP address (used transiently for rate limiting, DDoS mitigation, and geographic routing)
- HTTP user-agent string
- Timestamp and request path
This data is stored temporarily in secure operational logs for security auditing and abuse prevention, and is automatically rotated.
3. How We Use Information
We use contact information exclusively to:
- Evaluate, respond to, and fulfill technical consultation requests
- Coordinate mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and scoping calls
- Deliver professional cybersecurity services and platform demonstrations
- Fulfill legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations
4. Data Storage, Security & Retention
Form submissions are encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3 and stored in an isolated, encrypted database (Cloudflare D1) accessible only by authorized Battery Cyber personnel utilizing hardware-backed multi-factor authentication (FIDO2 WebAuthn). Inactive inquiry records are purged after 24 months unless an ongoing commercial relationship or legal obligation requires extended retention.
5. Your Rights
Regardless of your jurisdiction, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal contact information. To exercise these rights, contact:
